First pickup instructions and other important information pertaining to your service can be found in the welcome email upon sign up. Please be sure to check all spam, junk, and promotions folders for your welcome email. If you are still unable to find your welcome email and/or have questions about your first pickup, please let us know and we can have the email resent to you.
Instructions and details regarding your first pickup can vary depending on your location. In this article, you will find generic first pickup instructions based on categories of areas:
Bags Only:
Your schedule has been set and ready to be viewed here. For your first pickup, place your recyclables out on your curb by 10pm the night before your scheduled pickup and they will be collected by 7pm the day of pickup. You are welcome to use white or clear 13-gallon kitchen trash bags to place your recyclables in for this first pickup, with the exception of cardboard which can be left to the side but must be broken down and flattened for collection. You will be delivered a supply of recyclops bags between your first 1-2 scheduled pickups to use for future pickups.

If items are found not be in accordance with the Recycling Guidelines for first pickup, they will not be collected.
Carts Only: Casper, WY
Your schedule has been set and ready to be viewed here. For your first pickup, you are to place your recyclables out on your curb by 10pm the night before your scheduled pickup and they will be collected by 7pm the day of pickup. You will receive two 18-gallon totes to place your recyclables in on or before your first pickup date. Paper products are to be separated in one tote with aluminum and plastics separated in the other. Cardboard which can be left to the side of the totes, but must be broken down and flattened for collection.

For your first pickup, you are to place your recyclables out on your curb by 10pm the night before your scheduled pickup and they will be collected by 7pm the day of pickup. You are welcome to use white or clear 13-gallon kitchen trash bags to place your recyclables in for this first pickup, with the exception of cardboard which can be left to the side but must be broken down and flattened for collection. You will be delivered a supply of Recyclops bags between your first 1-2 scheduled pickups to use for future pickups. If you have not received your cart by your first scheduled pickup date, you are welcome to set your bags (sans the cart) on your curb for collection.

Wasatch County, UT: You are not required to use the teal/blue bags for your mixed recyclables and instead can use your own white or translucent 13-gallon kitchen trash bags. If you would like to use Recyclops bags instead of your own, please fill out a bag order form here.
