After conducting extensive research on the average amount of recycling generated by households, our team has determined that we will provide a yearly supply of 110 bags for mixed recycling. This allows for approximately 4-5 bags per pickup for customers who have an every other week subscription. However, for our weekly customers, the allotment is increased to the equivalent of a 3-year supply. By implementing this system, we are able to ensure that our program remains affordable for everyone, while also allowing us to keep track of the amount of recycling being brought in.
For customers who subscribe specifically for glass recycling, we will provide a yearly supply of 26 bags. This allows for 1 bag per pickup for every other week customers, or 2-3 bags per month for weekly customers.
