# Do I need different bags to recycle glass?

If you subscribe to our glass service, you will need our [**yellow/green** 13-gallon bags](https://ask.recyclops.com/what-size-bags-are-used-for-recycling?hsLang=en) to use instead of the typical teal/blue mixed recycling bags. The reasoning for this is these bags are made of a stronger material to accommodate the extra weight and help prevent tears from broken glass. Please expect your glass bags to be delivered within 1-2 schedule pickups of signing up for glass service.

\- Wasatch County customers **are required** to use the yellow/light green bags for glass items. The use of personal bags is **only allowed** for the mixed material.
