Why there is an additional fee for glass recycling in my area?

Depending on your area, we partner with different Materials Recycling Facilities (MRF) to take your recyclables to. By nature, glass is generally more expensive to recycle than other materials and some MRFs do not accept glass items. Therefore, glass items need to be sorted and hauled separately, which is a process with added cost.
