# My trash day is on the same day as my recycling pickup. How can I make sure my recycling is not collected with the trash?

Not to worry! We won't let those trash collectors pick up your valuable recyclables! When we launch in an area, we do our best to ensure that local waste management is notified of our presence in the area. This is another reason why our bags are so brightly colored, so as to help distinguish from typical trash bags.
