For our every other week customers, a year's supply of bags are given to you. This equates to about 4-5 bags of mixed recycling per scheduled pickup. For glass items, the year's supply given equates to about 1 bag per scheduled pickup. For weekly customers, we ask that you stay within that 4-5 bag limit as well for each scheduled pickup and to limit glass bags to about 2-3 bags per month. For cardboard, we ask that you keep your stack within 8-10 large flattened boxes.
We understand that life can be unpredictable. Some weeks you will have 7 or 8 bags and 3 cardboard boxes, others you may have 2 bags and 15 boxes. If you have an amount that exceeds the pickup limit, please reach out and notify Customer Experience so that we can give the driver a heads up. Without prior specification or notifying of Customer Experience, extra bags and/or cardboard may not be collected with pickup.
We understand this can pose an inconvenience to some, and we assure you this limit is not meant to be a punishment. It is there to help regulate the amount of recycling coming in, create a more efficient pickup system, and ensure that we can keep operational costs as low as we can to in turn keep costs low for you as well.
